Artist’s statement

I find significance, inspiration and joy in the rhythms, patterns and colours found in everyday situations.

I love to draw but it is the tactile quality of textile work that has been my focus in recent years.  Applique and collage feature heavily in all my pieces.  By cutting, tearing, sticking assembling and stitching freely I can achieve work that celebrates the world as I see it.
