Sue Sareen comes originally from the Wirral but now lives in West Bridgford, Nottingham. She exhibits widely and has shown work both in the UK and abroad, winning several awards.
Her paintings are figurative, and always display a strong sense of intimacy with the subject matter. In addition to painting she is the author of “Watercolour Painting Techniques” (Batsford Ltd) and of two painting DVDs “Colour and Light in Everyday Objects” and “Watercolour techniques”. She frequently contributes articles to the “Artist and Illustrator”, “Leisure painter,” and “The Artist” magazines.
She works in watercolours, acrylics and oils.
In addition to painting, exhibiting and undertaking commissions, she frequently demonstrates to and runs workshops for Art Societies and other organisations.
