Call for Entries, Print Exhibition, 2nd -14th July

WSA members, PRINT exhibition 2018. 2nd-14th July
After last summer’s popular and successful “Art of the Printmaker” exhibition it has been decided do it again.
The same venue, the exhibition room in West Kirby Library, is booked from 2nd July, (hanging and opening), to the14th July, (closing and takedown), and the event will again be listed in the programme of “Festival of Firsts” events, (for which there is a fee).
As with last year, the space is limited to 10-12 artists to display framed works, and some unframed work in browsers.
It is also required that exhibitors take a fare share of the rota for invigilating the exhibition, as the room is not overlooked by library staff, and artists being present is an excellent way of welcoming  the public, and explaining the many different processes and techniques that make up such a varied and arresting exhibition. Last year, the level of interest generated led to a healthy number of sales. (Please note: Wirral Borough Council takes 35% commission).
There is no theme for this exhibition. All works should be printed by the artist, and preferably not previously displayed in last year’s exhibition, (the point of “Festival of Firsts” is to present new work).
The cost to each artist will be £10, to cover Festival of Firsts listing, leaflets and posters and hire of some screens.
Expressions of interest to Rob,, by May 6th.
